Based on a selection of works of Scandinavian, Spanish and Latin American composers from different eras, Ensamble Oikos proposes in this concert, the construction of a sound weave, consonant and resounding, from perspective and
affection.
Through narration, light, sound landscape and instrumental music, choral songs will appear emerging from distant places and ages, and from different compositional models, sharing the emotional spirit.
Nature, man, the celebration of life, are the engines that inspire these songs and allow us to find paths to get time, space and style closer. Eduardo Mateo resounds with Hugo Alfvén's contemplation of nature, and ancient sacred texts become contemporary when used to express our present. Jose Marti's poetry, speaking about his own soul, approaches to the prayers to God, and the sound of a Swedish song, describing the sunset, joins the sound of Argentinian contemporary composer Moruja in his Lux aeterna.
